As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the well-being and productivity of our poultry. This is an urgent hiring opportunity, and we are looking for candidates who are ready to start immediately. This physically demanding role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide care and attention to poultry, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and behavior.

Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of poultry houses, equipment, and surrounding areas to maintain optimal conditions and prevent the spread of diseases.

Collect eggs, handle hatchery operations, and record production data accurately.

Assist in the implementation of vaccination programs and follow biosecurity protocols to maintain flock health.

Monitor and adjust environmental factors, such as temperature, ventilation, and lighting, to create a comfortable and suitable environment for the birds.

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

Conduct general farm maintenance tasks, including repairing fences, gates, and other structures.

Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and fellow workers.

Collaborate with the farm team to ensure efficient farm operations and meet production targets.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in poultry farming.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in poultry farming or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Basic knowledge of poultry husbandry practices, including feeding, disease prevention, and biosecurity measures.

Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Attention to detail and the ability to observe and identify signs of illness or distress in the birds.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Possession of a valid driver’s license may be beneficial, depending on the farm’s location and requirements.
